Welcome!
Greetings All....
Welcome to my professional portfolio. I currently teach AP, honors and traditional United States History at La Salle Academy in Providence RI. La Salle Academy is a large, Catholic co-ed college preparatory school serving a diverse student population with a wide variety of learning styles.
Education is a labor of love for me! I love the challenges that come with educating high school students today. Whether developing lesson plans that engage each child or finding new and exciting ways to use technology in the classroom; I enjoy the challenge of finding ways to make each student's education a meaningful and relevant experience.
In this portfolio you will see several artifacts from my time as a student in the Masters of Science in Education at the University of New England. Within the artifacts are lessons designed to increase motivation, web quests that were carefully designed to meet the needs of various learners, and even some observations from IEP meetings which opened my eyes to a whole new expereince. Needless to say my experience at UNE has been quite rewarding and has subsequently enriched the experience of my students. I hope you enjoy the contents of the website.
